Horsefeathers
The phrase "Horsefeathers" sometimes brings to mind a light hearted reference to nonsense. At Jake's Flat Farm, "Horsefeathers" refers to activities and workshops that are designed to be a light hearted and joyful experience for those who participate. The staff at Jake's Flat organize and conduct single day events and multiple day workshops and camps for children, adolescents and adults which offer an environment in which individuals participate in activities which promote personal development while enjoying time with the horses. These activities may include expressive arts, equine assisted activities, or just plain fun. Check our calendar for upcoming Horsefeathers events.

Children will participate in equine related games and activities which will include grooming, feeding, leading, driving a cart, and riding. Our horses and ponies are experienced with small children. All mounted and driving activities will require that children wear helmets.
